Hotel Alkhalifa - Chefchaouen

I celebrated a wonderful stay with superb breakfast and breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace, though the bathroom could use some love. I'd totally return!

Good small and absolutely spotless hotel located near slopes and sheep, Medina and all attractions and the Spanish mosque on the hill. The location excellent and stunning very close to the main square. And a 5-minute walk from Spanish Mosque.

Views from the terrace left me speechless every evening. The location felt peaceful yet accessible to the bustling medina. Bright blue walls everywhere made exploring the streets a visual delight. Rooms were spotlessly clean and stocked with thoughtful amenities. Breakfast choice was satisfying and tasty, helped kick off my mornings perfectly. The owner's assistance with local recommendations was genuine. On the downside, the shower area could use a fresh coat of paint, as it felt a bit neglected. Sometimes, it was tricky to manage the shower head to avoid splashing outside the area. Barking dogs in the neighborhood were a bit disruptive at night.

Found the best toasted sandwiches at Cafe Restaurant Sofia while enjoying a fine sunset view from the rooftop of Alkhalifa Hotel. The staff pampered us with free mint tea.

No fridge or kettle in the room, but they happily brewed us tea whenever we asked. Plus, there's a little shop across the road for cold drinks, so it hardly was like a hassle!

The terrace views are amazing, but the mattress was really hard for my taste.

I had a good stay, enjoying the amazing sunset view from the rooftop terrace and finding the vibrant Outa El Hammam Square just a pleasant stroll away, making it so easy to explore the local culture and cuisine.

The shower area could use some paint touches!!! Plus, the shower head is awkwardly positioned and can splash water if you're not careful!!! It would be a hassle if you have to deal with barking dogs at night!!!

Accommodating staff. We loved the amazing view from the roof terrace, perfect for enjoying sunsets!

The walk to the main square was hilly and tiring! While the bathroom sink drain was a bit slow.

Staying at this charming hotel was a delight for our family of six, including our four little ones. The cute staff provided us with local tips, made exploring Chefchaouen's beautiful blue streets fun and easy. The rooftop terrace was perfect for sunset views!

My wife says that having a kitchenette would be better for families.

The Superior Twin Room with City View was spacious and cozy. We had a fantastic view of the city and the room was one of the cleanest I've seen in Morocco! The AC was a bit noisy. The vibe was super relaxed and perfect for enjoying the terrace overlooking the city.

Very nice sunset views from the terrace! Don't miss the complimentary mint tea service. The location is ideal for exploring the charming blue alleys and nearby waterfall.

It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room for snacks and drinks.
